Commonwealth Initiative for Freedom of Religion or Belief (CIFoRB)

Established in September 2015, the Commonwealth Initiative for Freedom of Religion or Belief (CIFoRB) empowers Commonwealth parliamentarians to protect and promote the freedom of religion or belief through research, education and advocacy.

CIFoRB focuses on the role of parliamentarians in the public life of parliamentary democracies, from initiating, scrutinizing and voting on legislation, to holding governments to account and forming the pool of individuals from which governments are formed.
